Frequently asked questions

Is Blackstones Advisory a medical provider?

No. Blackstones Global Consulting LLC is a medical tourism facilitator. We connect patients with independent, licensed specialists and coordinate the logistics around their visit. We do not provide medical advice, diagnoses or treatment.

Who provides my care?

Your care is provided by the licensed specialist you choose, in a licensed facility in Mexico, under Mexican law. Clinical decisions, recommendations and outcomes are the responsibility of that provider.

How do I get a quote?

Quotes come directly from your specialist, in writing, after they have reviewed your case. Review what is included before you commit.

Do you only work with patients from the United States?

No. We welcome patients from anywhere in the world. Most of our patients travel through Texas and cross at Eagle Pass.

Which specialties are available?

Our network starts with plastic surgery and is growing to include other specialties. Write to us with what you are looking for and we will tell you what is available.

What do I need to cross the border?

Bring a valid passport book or another travel document accepted for land re-entry into the United States, such as a passport card. Non-U.S. citizens should check their own entry and visa requirements. We will share practical guidance before your trip.

Can someone come with me?

Yes, and we recommend it. We can help arrange lodging and transportation for your companion as well.

Do you speak English and Spanish?

Yes. Our team coordinates in English and Spanish, and we can arrange an interpreter during your stay.

What happens after I return home?

Follow-up care is provided by your specialist’s team. We help you stay in contact with them and coordinate any return visit.

Do you see my medical information?

No. Please do not send us medical records or health details. Clinical information is shared directly between you and your provider.
